I’m Brittany Scheer, a board certified music therapist living in and from New Bremen, OH. I hold a Bachelors of Music Therapy from Eastern Michigan University and a Masters of Arts in Music Therapy from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College.
I have worked with a variety of populations including adults and children with mental illness, children with developmental delays, adolescents with behavioral disturbance, older adults with dementia, people with terminal illness, and people suffering from grief and loss. My training focuses on medical music therapy and music psychotherapy.
I am involved in my profession as a member of the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA) and serve on the Ohio state task force, currently seeking licensure for music therapists in the state of Ohio.
My husband Gregg and three children, Anna, Josie, and Henry, enjoy living and playing in the New Bremen community. In my spare time, I enjoy camping, making music, hiking, and reading. I also love yoga, meditation, and learning about complimentary health/therapies.
